“People often represent the weakest link in the security chain and are chronically responsible for the failure of security systems”.  Bruce Schneier

The term ‘Security Awareness’ is often seen as synonymous with training. If staff wear their ID badges in public then many see the obvious solution as training.  In fact what needs to happen is that they need to understand why this is a security risk and therefore not acceptable.   There are a range of ways this can be done that do not necessarily involve formal training.

Security Awareness is about bringing more secure business operation into all aspects of your business.  At Idrach we believe that the most effective way to do that is to work with businesses to identify areas of weakness and then empower every member of the organisation, in whatever way is most effective,to reduce the vulnerability.

Security Empowerment uses the methodology encapsulated in the quote “Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day.  Teach a man to fish and you feed him for a lifetime”.  We work with organisations to raise their risk awareness and develop strategies that will bring improvements in their risk exposure.
